What I miss in Firefox 4

I find that whilst Firefox 4 is a great browser, there are things that I miss like:-

In FF3 I could use the dropdown facility to jump back say 4 pages without having to hit the back button 4 times or use the "History" dropdown.

I like using the "8 day" forecast in Forecastfox to see the week ahead in FF3...but in FF4 I can only see 5 days because I'm forced to upgrade Forecastfox to the later version.

What else or capabilities do you miss in FF4

There is also an extension that I personally use, called Back Forward History Dropdown 0.1.0. It restores the little arrow beside the back/forward button that so many of us are use to.

I missed the status bar, but there's a plugin for that. So I'm happy now. ^.^

Or just click and hold the back arrow for a second or so and it pops open.

    Another status bar replacement,

    design-noir | Mozilla | Link Target Display

Not sure about 4, but in the 6 alpha have to disable add-on compatibility checking,

    Extensions.checkCompatibility - MozillaZine Knowledge Base

    for it to work.

Thanks for the tips guys..I see its not just me that missed the little drop down arrow!! I would still have preferred the 8 day forecast in Forecastfox. The other slight grumble is that the addons are not really keeping up with the FF releases and on the dates for the release schedule, they are going to fall further behind...

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-us/fir...rd-dropmarker/ here is another addon, I tried this a cpl weeks ago doesn't change look of buttons and works good, I uninstalled it however bc it is just as easy for me to right click the button.

i also think you can do this without an addon with a little userchrome tweak i personally use the stylish addon to customize my browsers as much as possible and then you don't have to manually edit userchrome,

if you interested check out userstyles.org as they got loads of awesome styles and not just for the browser but for pages too, You will need stylish first.

as for forcast fox i haven't used it in awhile but i think you should be able to customize it at least it used to be able to i guess i could install it and see if i can get the 5day thing working for you but as far as i could remember you could add as many days as you want and even change the icons and info it displays when u hover the icon. takes a cpl hours of tweaking to get it to my liking i don't use it anymore as im on a screen real estate kick right now.
