pdf file keeps trying to open

I'm running FireFox 4 and keep getting a "you have chosen to open" window that pops up as if I've download a PDF file and FireFox is asking if I want to open it or save it.

The file is a manual I downloaded about a year ago from www.golfbuddyglobal.com and have since deleted.

I have cleaned my machine using Ccleaner but it still pops up every couple of days.

Is there a log file or something that I could try to find out what's up?

I was looking at the manual for a friend. Never hooked it to my computer, only downloaded the manual from the golfbuddy site.

try cleaning with atf cleaner- I really like ccleaner but for a problem atf cleaner does remove a lot more temp files-

If that didnt fix it then try malwarebytes- if it acts like nagware then maybe malwarbytes will fix it for you-

If that fails try autoruns and see ifr its running in memory- suggest selecting hide microsoft entries- or will be hard to find- (or maybe it was windows. instead of microsoft...forget-been awhile)

I'll try atf cleaner
Have tried Malwarebytes
How do I ck "autoruns"? Is that the MS program? Is that the same as the startup files? I use CodeStuff Starter.
I think Ccleaner cleans the cahce. Is there another way to do it in FireFox?

Thanks for the input.
