should I uninstall internet explorer...if so where do I get to install it from to get it back on laptop...
Have you tried the clean boot?

I do not know if you can uninstall it lol But I strongly suggest removing all programs that interact with it such as the AOL toolbar

Apparently Revo uninstaller can be used to uninstall things more completely....Is this correct.....I have not used it yet thou to uninstall anything

Oh and where is the best place to search everything to do with google installed on my laptop?
Try it and see I have never used Revo uninstaller but I have heard it mentioned as being good

Google, that is a good question, You have no installed google programs - according to revo uninstaller yet they appear in your internet explorer , are you sure this is not an addon?
Click on the start orb and type google in the search box

If you follow the Clean boot as it is written it should do your PC no harm,

    Hi Angie,

To capture a snip of a menu:

    1. Open Snipping Tool by clicking Start button , type Snipping Tool.

    2. After you open Snipping Tool, press ESC key, and then open the menu that you want to capture.

    3. Press CTRL + Print Scrn Key.

    4. Click the arrow next to the NEW button, select a snip type from the snipping menu, and then use
your mouse to capture & then save it to a file folder on your HD.
