Firefox 4 question

Is there an addon or an edit for the about:config thing that makes it so pop ups appear as tabs.

Like I watch a lot of videos, and sometimes a 2nd window pops up that appears with the video like so.

Not certain that this is what you want, as I'm not familiar with the type of pop-up you cited. The following extension has a specific setting, in its Links menu, "Enable Single Window Mode", which may be what you are seeking:

If that is not what you want or need, then I did not post this reply....

Thanks! This option is basically what I wanted.

"Open links that open in a new window in a Tab". Perfect! Thanks.

Don't need an addon to do it.

Just go into about:config in the address bar, and set - browser.link.open_newwindow.restriction

to 0. Popups will always open up in a new tab with it set to 0.

Firefox question
right now my homepages in FF are a few blogs, would it be possible to have each blog only open if there is a new post on it? it would make it faster and easier to see only the blogs with new posts on them, anyone know if this is possible? or some kind of similar alternative?
