    Did the reinstall of ie9 and the problem came back so will stick with ie8 for now thanx...

    I've been looking around about this problem for a while now, and I did turn up this old post: Problem with ie9

    IE8 isn't blocking iGoogle because it simply isn't realizing those potential security holes, but IE9 is. If this were a truly threatening site, it would get past IE8, but not 9. As cluberti explains, adding iGoogle as a trusted site will allow these less secure items to run, but only for the iGoogle site. It's a matter of essential web safety.

    It won't accept iGoogle into trusted sites unless it is "https".. (see screenshot)

    Uncheck "Require server verification (https:) for all sites in this zone."
