Windows 7: Windows live files

Windows live files

Hi all!

Where are the "Windows Live" files stored in Windows 7 ?

The reason I ask is because my disc crashed. Windows 7 doesn't start any more and it is not repairable (I've tried for days now). However, I can read the contents of the disc by inserting the disc into another computer. I have been able to save almost all of my data with the exception of my e-mails. I use Windows Live and I use it in POP mode (unfortunately) so the mails are only stored in my computer an not on the server.

Grateful for any help.

Mine are stored in folders below C:\Users\keith\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Live Mail. They are eml files.

AppData is a hidden file so you may have to display hidden files.

I'm not sure how POP3 works but there is also the possibility that the last 30 days may be in the Bin folder on your e-mail server.
