    Deleting a User ID

I need some help in deleting a user id for signing in to gmail. When I first set it up, I said yes to IE's, "Do you want IE to remember this info....." Now that user id is no longer used, and it is a real pain because it starts with the same letter as a currently used ID, and when that letter is typed in, the old one pops into the sign in box. Then of course, I have to type in the rest of the ID until the correct ID is recognized. I've tried to use Help, and it says I need to go to User Accounts. I can't even figure out how to do that. Any help out there? Thnx a bunch. Jack

You could try using CCleaner CCleaner - Optimization and Cleaning - Free Download
Cleans all areas of your Computer
    Internet Explorer
Temporary files, history, cookies, Autocomplete form history, index.dat.

Most data in drop down lists can be deleted by highlighting (selecting) the entire word and then hitting the delete key. If that doesn't work for some reason try (within IE) Tools/Internet Options/Content/Autocomplete/Settings to find the option to delete the autocomplete history.
