Anyone having trouble with hotmail? (IE8)

So, today I have tried to load up hotmail about 30 or more times, and refreshed the page about double that.

It has happened at school and also here at home. I have no idea what's wrong with it, but I don't assume it would be my laptop as Hotmail were recently down for about a day too.

Before you tell me to turn off antivirus software, or to refresh page, OR use a different browser, I have tried. None work. Thing is, IT DOES WORK on Firefox, but unfortunately, when I check my emails more often at school, firefox isn't setup for the schools settigns, and I cbf getting the IT guys to put all the proxy crap into FF just to use my emails.

    So, it looks like:

Don't know why it's happeneing, but it is, so anyone else have this problem?

I can't click anything, I can't read emails, or use the site in any other way apart from clicking things I don't want to use.

Hotmail can now be set to always use HTTPS, its safer and might help.

I had the same problem with Hotmail yesterday, and assumed the site was down (for whatever reason) --- but after several hours it was working properly again.

Unfortunately that doesn't work. The IT guys at our school have blocked several https connections recently, as people found out that you could access facebook using https.

    I just get a connection error :\
