Don't use Thunderbird at the moment due to Mozilla going whack but thanks for the update, Airbot.

Unfortunately, they decided firefox 4+'s glass theme needs to be in Thunderbird as well, as they added it to 5. If you don't like firefox's default theme, be prepared to install a theme or stick with 3.x.

    Update no problem.

However, if you previously had Thunderbird 3.1.11 and Thunderbird 5.0 Beta1 installed the 5.0 installation replaces the 3.1 installation but the 5.0 Beta1 remains on the computer, not the other way around with the Beta being updated and 3.1 remaining on your computer.

Personally I like the look that was there after the update a lot better than what was on 3.x

It didn't really take my fancy, in particular the white bleeding fonts

Still wont make me change, just gave it a quick cover up with a simple "Persona" each to their own.

Doesn't support quickfolders, thunderbrowse, compact menu.

I love the way mine is set up at this time - very intuitive and clean, not sure if I want to bother just yet.

I wish I had known that TB 5 does not support QuickFolders 2.7, because my copy of that extension is working in my copy of TB 5.

Download and install https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/thu...orter/?src=api , then test the extensions that it forces to work despite being theoretically incompatible.

I've found a couple of extensions that do not work after being forced to be compatible, at least one other than barely works. In addition, it would not be fair for me to state that even QuickFolders works completely, as I've not tested all of the features of that extension nor of the others that now seem to be working correctly.

You mean quickfolders, thunderbrowse, compact menu don't support it. Not the other way around. It's up to the developers of the addons to add support, not Mozilla. Unless it's an addon by Mozilla itself.
