    default browser

I generally use Opera as my default browser but since a recent windows update any links I open in my e-mail open in IE. I have set Opera as default but to no avail and I see no way to change the IE settings. I know this is a little thing but it annoys me none the less. Does anyone know how to fix this?

    Try this
Go to search and type windows features turn on and off
    boot
Untick IE, I guess its 9

You will not be able to go on line unless the other browser is working.

Go into Default Programs (Start > Default Programs) then click 'Set your default programs'. Find Oprah and click 'Set this program as default'.
    Hope this helps.

Rich I tried that and now e-mail links don't open at all and I did check to see if Opera was set as default

Well after much searching and tinkering I ended up doing a restore to get everything working again but I still have the same issue with IE 9 opening links in e-mail.
Sorry I took so long I didn't realize the post had been moved.
    Thanks for all your help
