Thanks again for your suggestions, however as you can see from these two uploads, could not find a check mark removel that cured the nag to log into Windows live ID

1.Please read my replies again. I did not say " remove", I said put a checkmark at....

2. I also reminded you that the suggestion of " properties " is not meant by me as a solution to your problem, just to show you what did they mean by " properties ".

3. My last reply asks you to follow davehc's advise. That should be the closest to the solution, ever.

I would suggest you read my posts and the follow up from t-4-2 CAREFULLY. You are not even close to following the advice!

Under "options" there should be a tab called "connection". At the bottom push the "stop signing in" button if you don't want to sign in. Your contacts will use the "not signed in" list instead of the ones at the "contacts.live.com" website so when backing up your data, you should include an export of your contacts.

Looks like the OP was confused by the word "properties", hence the screen shots of the account properties window. He needs to find "options" from the main ribbon. I don't know where that is since I've not yet "upgraded" to the ribbon version.

Just married,

Here is the step by step to davehc method .....
Open your Windows Live Mail > click the blue button at the top left corner > at the drop down box, click Options > click Mail > then click Connection tab at the top ( see screenshot #1 below ) > click Sop signing in button > click OK when done ( see screenshot #2 )

OK, I posted my problem with Windows Live Mail 2011 essentials in the General Discussion area, did not find any area just for Windows Live Mail so where should it be placed. A note at the top of this page says I should choose another place to post it where should it be posted.

I still need a solutions as to how I get rid of the NAG to log into Windows Live ID every time I open Windows Live Mail 2011 Essentials. I have removed messenger, and anything else that relates to Windows Live ID, Windows Live Mail 2011 Essentials still works fine EXCEPT I still get the NAG to log in to the ID program. I did a research at Microsoft, they just ignore me all searches come up with links that DO NOT address my complaint. Windows Live Essentials is not really too bad but do not like to log into the ID program.

I use Windows Live Mail
If you want to use Windows Live Mail then you need to to be Signed-in to Windows Live ID - and remain Signed-in
If you remain Signed-in then on Opening Live Mail watch the Sign-in Button - far right on the Home Tab - it takes a couple of seconds but you'll notice the little cirular Icon spinning - when it stops you'll see your E-maill Address and Live Mail will be working
You either remain Signed-in to Live ID or you'll have to Sign-in each time you Open Live Mail which is a bore

There are three posts above (davhc, t-4-2, and mine) explaining how to "stop signing in" to the PROGRAM called "Windows Live Mail". But if you're accessing your mail via the web browser interface at Hotmail.com, you have to sign in to identify yourself to the website.
