Windows Live - Cannot Sign In

I set up a Windows Live account to get email on Windows 7 Home Premium.
I used my email account for my Windows Live ID.

Now, when I try to Sign In, it says "The Windows Live ID is incorrect."

What should I do? Should I uninstall Windows Live and start over?
Will it let me use my email address again as my ID?

    Thanks, cb

So you set up a Hotmail/Windows Live e-mail which you then entered into Windows Live Messenger (MSN)? Your WL ID is probably incorrect. Check for spelling/punctuation errors.

    OOPS - Operator Error?

Later, I was checking my email on my Vista computer and there was an email that said I had to reply to it to activate Windows Live Mail. Now it works.

I am trying to find documentation on how it works - messages stay on server, etc.
    Will do a separate thread.

Thanks for the prompt reply, cb
