Issues with webcam

    Issues with webcam


    Hi.

    Not the webcam itself, but when I want to look at my website where the webcam there are activex issue(s) I think.

    I have attached screenshot showing what I see.

    How can I tackle the issue ?

    at the bottom of internet explorer in second screen shot there is intall button, click it to intall activeX if you really trust it.. because internet explorer seems to not trust it.

    Ok, I did it, and also before I sent it.

    But the screenshot with the "Blocked" in it shows the situation after I tried to install it.

    This is a shows stopper

    Again I have attached what happens AFTER having tested to install.

    try adding that site to safe zone and lower security in internet explorer options.

    i mean site on which you watch your webcam add to trusted sites and use slider to lower security to low on trusted sites.
    In Internet options>security tab menu.

    Internet Explorer Security Zones - Add or Remove Sites

    Oh yes, of course

    Well the website to be added to Trusted Sites must use https://prefix format is waht I get

    Hello Darkhorse,

    You would just need to uncheck the the Require server verification (https: ) for all sites in the zone box to add a non https site. :)

    Internet Explorer Security Zones - Add or Remove Sites

    Then the https is over....

    did you set trusted sites slider to low?
