How do we install IE8 for Win 7 E?

Maybe a stupid question, but how is this going to be handled?
Will MS have some kind of app to allow you to download IE8 within the package?
Obviously, the simple answer is to pre-download a browser to flashdrive beforehand, but at the moment, there is only the IE8 for Vista (that doesn't work in 7) to download.
BTW, yes I know there are many others, but I tend to prefer IE.

OK, I guess that makes sense.
What is the point in all this nonsense from the EU anyway? I mean, Apple load Safari with Macs, so what's the problem with IE? It's not that there isn't any competition for alternative browsers when the user gets on the web!

There is talk that Windows Update will offer Internet Explorer 8 the same as it does with Vista & XP (although they're upgrades). There are some threads regarding IE in the EU if you search 'News' and 'General Discussion' :)

Yes, I did a search, but couldn't see anything on why the EU has made this ruling, especially in the light of Apple installing Safari on Macs.

just made a tutorial on how you can get a browser if you don't have one. it is basically a small script that will use the ftp command line within windows to download and install the latest version of firefox. I can edit it to do the same for IE or any broswer as long as it is available on an FTP server.

And if you have access to IE8, say if your dual booting or have another PC with it on you can just copy the .exe file to your Internet Explorer folder. It seems all the other files are already there.I took the one form my XP partition. Its been working fine.

There is already a security update that installs IE8 under W7. Its been posted in another thread (cant remember which one off hand)

This thread has been superceded by events. I voting screen will now be included in all windows worldwide. E has been scrapped.

@akramh: I had also produced a tutorial on how to download a browser for E using WMP. But these tutorials are now defunct.
