Does it freeze on certain sites, or everything? I personally have only had a handful of Opera crashes in years of use on XP and Seven.
You might try disabling plugins to see if that is the cause:
Tools> Quick Preferences (or just F12 key)> Uncheck Enable Plug-Ins
Try to surf and see if problem is gone. If so, you can try to drill down to which plugin is the cause.
If not, see if anything on this link is helpful:

when i click opera icon and open opera,
a homepage, google search, opens, and when i click any links on google search, all of links are freezed, they are not going anywhere.
on the other hand, when i open new tab, everything is ok.
i am on HP mini, f12 is wireless switch, if i click f12, internet won't work.
anyway,
i unchecked plug ins, opera is working.
and freezes again
Freezes without plugins enabled? You might do a clean start to see if another program is interfering.
