Flash Player for 64bit IE

I see this tread was dead for a while...
I installed Win 7 RC 64 bit and am using 32 bit IE, however, every time I get to a website that requires Flash Player, I get this annoying "the web site wants to run the following add-on: Adobe Flash Player..." I have installed it several times. Is there a way to do it once and for all?

there isn't any flash player yet in 64 bit, but you can use the 32bit

I understand that and I installed 32 bit player (10.0.32.18 - it is in my installed programs list), but almost every web site wants to install it again every time I visit them. Yow can I fix that?

try getting it directly from Adobe - Adobe Flash Player

What browser? any addons?

It might help "registering" direct x if you uninstalled then re-installed it Often direct x doesn't completely n-install if you use cpanel to remove. there are specific directx uninstallers for it

Sorry, it's IE8 (32bit)
I did not uninstall direct x (yet), so I shouldn't neet to re-registere it, right?

IM wondering if its an IE thing or directx thing. You might want to try another browser (firefox?) to see if it happens there. Obviously if it doesnt then you can start looking at IE, if it does then you can confinue thinking its a directx thing.

Have you searched both here and google for direct x problems relating to IE?

That's where I got it from...but strange thing - when I go to Adobe's site it offers me to install Flash Player of the same version that I already have. It does not sound right, does it?
