Got updated to 7.0.1 already too!
The latest version of Firefox has the following changes:
- Fixed a rare issue where some users could find one or more of their add-ons hidden after a Firefox update (see the blog post)
The previous version of Firefox introduced the following changes:
- Drastically improved memory handling for certain use cases
- Added a new rendering backend to speed up Canvas operations on Windows systems
- Bookmark and password changes now sync almost instantly when using Firefox Sync
- The 'http://' URL prefix is now hidden by default
- Added support for text-overflow: ellipsis
- Added support for the Web Timing specification
- Enhanced support for MathML
- The WebSocket protocol has been updated from version 7 to version 8
- Added an opt-in system for users to send performance data back to Mozilla to improve future versions of Firefox
- Fixed several stability issues
- Fixed several security issues
got it, and all my add ons fine too.
remember folks that when you have firefox pinned to the taskbar ,after the update you will see two instances ,pin the new one, unpin the old one and drag the new one where you normally keep the ff icon on taskbar and everything will be as normal
It happens sometimes, Corazon. Don't know why though. Happened to me when I went from 3.6 to 4.0
Is roboform compatible with firefox 7.1
mine said no to the roboform toolbar , but im using the roboform lite add on instead and that works fine, and it still links to your roboform default folder
all my themes are broken
can not use :
after deadline, ghostery, or any of my facebook or photobucket plugins/addons.
manually activating them with the compatibility manager doesn't help they just don't work anymore. In the case of ghostery I had to remove it manually I could not even load pages after trying to force it on.
Thank god I got my battlefield 3 beta account now, at least I can work out my frustrations.
Edit: felt it only fair to come back and mention I seem to have gotten most everything working again, it was rather time consuming though.
