An add-on for this website failed to run. Check the security settings

I get the above error when trying to open a flash video tutorial from a trusted site.

I have also adjusted every safety setting on this computer with no luck.

I believe this is a similar problem I'm having viewing certain images from affiliate websites also?

    Please Help!!

You could uninstall, reboot, and reinstall Flash:
    Uninstall Flash Player | Windows
Adobe - Install a different version of Adobe Flash Player (uncheck google toolbar)
If that doesn't work, reset IE and install Flash again:
    Tools/Internet Options/Advanced/Reset (include personal settings)

You might first look at the Flash player settings in Control Panel just to make sure the problem site is not blocked in some way.

    Hi! Thanks for replying.
Unfortunately I followed all those steps you wrote to no avail. Must be something in system root or registry?

the flash ad on http://edition.cnn.com/2011/10/12/op...ges/index.html for example works well. but the ad on http://www.ynetnews.com/articles/0,7...135131,00.html triggers the problem.
the same happens in some other websites with flash. Maybe it's a prroblem with the ad's domains which are blocked in my system??

omg that was easy to solve it was because of AdvancedSystemcare that added doubleclick.net and other sites to my restricted sites in IE. I'll mark this as solved thanks A LOT for your help :) :)
