Multiple problems with installing, browsing with different explorers.

    Hello,

This problem I came across last week and thought it wouldn't be a problem but now it is really bugging me.

I usually use google chrome as my browser but suddenly it stopped working. When I open the browser it would'nt load any websites what so ever. I also tried Safari and Mozilla Firefox and they had the same problem!
Having said that I searched on the internet on how to solve the Google Chrome situation and tried the -no-sandbox method however this did not last long and persevered to not load anything.
I also tried the firewall solution by enabling the browsers but it still does not work.
Internet explorer seems to work well but I tried to install the new Java and nothing happens. To be more specific Runescape (online game) does not load and the page says error.

I would like a reply because I couldn't find anything specific and last time I turned to Sevenforums the members helped me to solve a problem I had last year!

    Thank you.

Hello there. First be sure that you have established an internet connection correctly,I mean that you have internet.
Also be sure that the sire is working. You can check this by Start->Run->cmd and there wrote ping sitename.com.

And check if you are behind proxy.

    If you go to
    chrome://settings/advanced

in chrome then click Change Proxy Settings next to Network
then click Lan Settings Button. Does it show anything?
Seems strange that multiple browsers would lose settings concurrently.
