    Third party home page changers

How do I keep third parties from changing my home page in the browser?

If you are running IE, WinPatrol should notify you if it detects the home page or search page has changed:

    WinPatrol Features: Options

I've been using WinPatrol for many years across many PCs. It's a dependable stable utility.
The free version does quite a bit. The paid adds a few custom features.

    Hello Blockie,

In addition, you could use the tutorial below to specify and home page in Internet Explorer, and prevent it from being able to be changed.

    Hope this helps,
