I'm not sure I know what you are saying.
However, using the same source as Corazon, we can see a bit of a correlation between what we are talking about here and what happened with the corporate name Xerox. Although clearly the name of a company it was soon used as a verb.
xeroxed - definition of xeroxed by the Free Online Dictionary, Thesaurus and Encyclopedia.
People began saying, "can you xerox this for me", or I xeroxed it, for example. Just as folks are now saying I googled it.
It's really a non-issue but I just thought today about using I Bingd it (using the suggestion by Gornot). If nothing more it will stir some interest and spice up whatever I am writing (or saying, for that matter).
