    I see that you have 3 GB ram that should be plenty for most programs & Firefox unless you are multitasking.
    Try opening Task Manager when you are getting slowdowns & look under processes & also Performance & try & identify any processes that may be causing the slow downs.

    I did that and there is nothing causing slowdowns, I check all the time. If I take off Office 2010, will my office 2007 take over, or will all the info be gone. I installed 2010, thinking 2007 would still be there and it wasn't. It all transferred to 2010. I think this is when it started, but it shouldn't be doing it I don't think.
