    Babylon Search

I currently use Firefox. When I'm on a website, I click + on top below the URL to get a new page. Immediately Babylon search page shows up. How can I rid the Babylon tool bar and program please. I go to Uninstall but cannot find anything related to Search or Babylon. I also go to Viewed Update History, but cannot find anything related to Babylon or Search. Could you please show me how to get rid of this program. Thanks.

    control panel>uninstall a program.
    Uninstall anything that says babylon.

in your web browser go to tools>manager add-ons and look all throughout it for anything that says babylon. if something does, disable it. if you can, uninstall/remove it from the add-on menu. let me know how this works

After running Regseeker I deleted all detected Babylon keys.
But Google Chrome started again with Babylon Searchpage.
    Changed the startpage to Google.
But still Babylon Search showed up.
Deinstalled Babylon toolbar in software and programs with IO Uninstaller and searched for any entry which I also deleted.
Still babylon showed up as startpage.
The problem got solved when I found out that Chrome could be set to start with certain pages.
And there I found the b*st*rd. Under the Upper right key icon in your browser
Go to setting/ specific pages and remove Babylon with X and replace it with, for instance; www.Google. etc.

Babylon Search has the profile of an nasty virus and should be blocked from the internet.
They install unwanted software without asking or approval.
It's not only that, they install Babylon toolbar and start Babylon searchpage on all your browsers at the same time.

^ Sorry mate, I've been gone, but glad you got it sorted. Yes, I've had trouble with it too, but generally stick with IE9, so I haven't encountered that particular problem. Did use Revo Uninstaller Free to remove it just to make sure it was deleted fully. take care.
