    Firefox/Outlook 2010 problem

    Have just reformatted my computer. Win7 64 bit, Intel 2600k 8gig ddr3 1600 RAM.

    Using Firefox as default browser.
Office 2010 installed. Microsoft Oulook default mail client.
    Mailwasher also used.
Internet Download Manager as d/load manager.
Look n Stop firewall, Webroot SecureAnywhere, Microsoft Security Essentials
and Malwarebytes(on demand). All security software run and everything is clean.

This problem never occurred before reformatting and has just surfaced.
Everytime I open Outlook either using Mailwasher or Outlook itself Firefox immediately opens to a blank page with the following:

Firefox can't find the file at /C:/Users/Name/AppData/Local/Microsoft/Windows/Temporary Internet Files/{CFD043D9-0CBB-482A-85F1-455E817671C8}/{9BCDCD53-42F1-423A-
    AB33-10C6B2D1C6A9}.html.

Any assistance or advice would be appreciated.

Does problem occur in Outlook safe mode?
Please press Win+R and paste there the following line, hit enter
    Code:
    outlook /safe
    .
If you decide to type it manually, do not miss space before slash.

    Many thanks for your response.
Apart from other issues I am having at the moment with trying
to retrieve data from my backup progams hard drive for some
unexplicable reason the problem described above has resolved itself.

I will keep an eye on it and get back if it returns.

Again many thanks for your input.

    Outlook 2010 - File - Options - Add-ins.
At the very bottom of the window - Manage: COM Add-ins - click GO...

In the new window uncheck first item - then restart outlook. See if the make difference, repeat with every one on the list. This will help you by elimination to determine which add-in causes that problem. Publish results here.

    Again thanks for your assistance.
Success!! Removal of tick alongside "microsoft outlook social connector" fixed the problem.
