How to associate email with Windows Live Photo gallery

On my first try to email a photo fromWindows Live Photo Gallery a window told me to "create an association with my email program." I have an email program (verizon) but I don't understand how to create the association. Can someone help?

    Is Verizon your Internet provider?

Or is it also your email application?? I didn't know Verizon actually had an email application.

The controls for attaching a picture to an email should be within the email application itself.

Or do you use something like Yahoo mail?

    Or??

Webmail is not a program, so it can't be designated as the default email program for other applications to use. Email is being sent/received by the email server which you view through your browser. You need a program like Windows Live Mail, Microsoft Outlook, or Thunderbird (to name a few) in order to have something on your pc that can be designated the default email client.

When I open Internet Explorere my home page, Verizon, opens. I click the email tab, sign in, and my email opens. When I open the email the IE tab (or wWindowa tab, I'm not sure whose tab it is) saya "Verizon Webmail."

IE is not an email program. It's a web browser. If you can view your email without first opening IE, or any web browser, then you would be using an email program to do that.

Then you don't have an email program installed to set as the default program for email.
