I want to add 'Unread e-mail' quick view, but it is grayed out

As you can see from the attached two screenshots I have "Unread email from contacts" and " All Inbox" checked and the top selection is grayed out. No matter what selection I check or uncheck from the other 11 boxes the top selection remains grayed out. I would like the quickviews to show only unread mail. No matter what combination of boxes I check/uncheck my quickviews always shows 842 messages, most of them already read, and I have to scroll through all 842 to find the few unread messages.

    Does anyone have any ideas?

    Thanks, Airpix / John

Unread mail is automatically checked (and required) by default. If you are seeing 842 there are several workarounds. For example "mark all read", and sort by received date.

Can you be more specific as to what you need?

Yes, I have four email accounts. Instead of looking at each one for new email messages I would like to be able to open Quick Views and see only my new, unread emails, shown together in Quick Views, from each of the four accounts. The way it is set up now 800+ emails appear in Quick Views and I have to scroll / search for the new, unread emails.

    Thanks, John

I know the feeling ( I have 8 email accounts and use WLM). WLM combines the four account in quick view.
