Synchronizing contacts between Win 7 and Vista Live Mail

I use windows live mail on both my Desktop with Win 7 and my laptop with Vista.

What is the best way to keep my contacts list synchronized on both machines.

    Thanks,

    Bob

If you select the "sign-in" option on both machines, you will start using the "signed-in" contacts list. That list is maintained at the web site "contacts.live.con" and synced with WLM. If you are not doing that already, you may have to export your contacts while not signed in, and then import them after you sign in.

Thank you for your reply. I have searched everywhere I can find in Windows Live Mail and can't locate the "sign-in" options you mention.

Can you steer me in the right direction.

    Thanks,

On WLM 2009 it's on Tools/Options/Connections tab; the last item on that tab is entitled "Connecting to Windows live Services". On the 2011 version I'm sure it's similar after you find the "Options" which are hidden somewhere in the ribbon. Good luck!

OK, I found it. One machine was signed in as noted, second wasn't, but is now signed in and my contacts are now synced between machines!

    Appreciate the help!
