Check for a firmware update before all else, almost all of Netgears woes are due to bugs in their programming and sooner or later it does get ironed out... you might be pleasantly surprised!
I check it daily no new updates Now i cant access 3/4th of the web . I miss all the forums i love to be in .
What is your ISP? Did you follow the setup wizard to configure the modem with your ISP's settings? Did they specify the settings you should use when setting up the modem?
Also, make sure your computer is set to use DHCP for both its IP address and DNS servers.
Go to the connection properties for your network adapter and select IPv4, then go to properties:
Check to see that the settings are configured the same as in this example:
Once you have done this let me know

I just tried using proxies to access website and it worked fine but i can't fully rely on proxies . So any ideas ??
My suggestion is a little harsh, but if there's no new firmware for the DGN1000 then get another router.
Right now bear in mind you'll want something iPv6 ready, with decent firmware, and a better reputation that some, or most, or what Netgear make.
One router I can wholeheartedly swear upon is mentioned in my system spec's...
Any chance you could have gotten some sort of malware? I ask this because I ran into an issue the other day at work where one of our employees was trying to access a few sites and kept getting redirected.
He would open up IE and search for something from his Yahoo homepage, the results would appear but as soon as he clicked on something he would get redirected and couldn't access any sites.
Can you create a brand new profile on your computer and then try accessing your sites? If this works then you'll just need to remove malware from the profile you use
