    IE - Windows Live

I have my default web browser set to Google Chrome. Is there anyway of setting windows live messenger to open email in IE auto without setting all apps to use IE default keeping Chrome as default

    Hello there!

As far as my knowledge you can't do that because it calls the HTML extension so what ever the default HTML program is it open that application. In your case it's Chrome.

The best I can think of off the top of my head is to create a shortcut to IE on your desktop and then fill in the URL to your live mail as the first parameter. (Add the URL in quotes to the end of the "Target" entry)

Full entry under Target should look something like this:
    "C:\Program Files (x86)\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe" "https://www.sevenforums.com"

i dont use IE but im sure you can drag a page onto the taskbar and pin it, in your case drag the hotmail inbox page ,when i say drag the page i mean drag the icon by the url bar , for the life of me i cant remember the word for it.

    edit ,its a favicon
