    IE9 and Compatibility issues

Okay in the past few days I am getting a lot of sites that are being displayed in Compatibility mode because of some problem with the webpage. This has never happened before and I could see it happening from time to time on odd sites, but things like foxnews.com and arbusa.com. Any way I just got to thinking that I may have some kind of malware. So I updated Security Essentials and scanned my system with no problems.

Can anyone tell me why so many web pages are no having problems and have to be displayed in comap mode?

    Thanks

And this problem is also happening IE with no add-ons. I have even reset IE to like new and problem still continues.

    I tried foxnews.com in both IE9 x86 & IE9 x64 - came up without compatibility mode just fine.

    Reset IE - http://support.microsoft.com/kb/923737

I tried this and even went as far as to completely reload the system from a backup. Worked fine until I started applying updates. I have restored the system twice and cannot figure out what is causing this problem.

Okay I will take the kick to the rear for this one. But I cannot believe what I found. So I went as far as to complete reload my system. Backing up the system every so often incase the problem surfaced again. Well sure enough did, right after installing some Helvetica fonts! What the heck, fonts!! I guess that some of the web pages didn't like that installed and triggered the compatibility issue.

Hope this may help someone else.
