I don't think it is asking for a browser name.

It is asking for the location of the email that you want to import---which should be a particular folder on your hard drive. It's up to you to find out where that is.

Are you importing from Outlook? Or from Outlook Express?

If Outlook Express, take Qdos's advice and look around in the advanced section of Outlook Express's configuration. I can't remember where the default location is, but I do remember that the location is named in plain sight somewhere within the configuration.

Thank you for all your help. Have a wonderful night.

Importing messages and importing addresses are two separate issues.

On the old XP PC search for wab.exe which is the address book, and choose export contacts... throw them onto a USB stick in .csv format - which you can then import to WLM.

To find your message store in XP search for files called *.eml (ensure you include hidden file and folders in the search) and note the name of the directory where they are listed. Either network XP and 7 and import them that way - or remove the XP hard drive and link it to the new computer and import that way.

    Job done :)
