Web browser not opening, mozilla, IE , Opera etc..

    Hello everyone,
I haan issue before about product key got it solved, but didnt do the laptop clean. I know maybe thats why im having so many problems now, but I have no ack up right now and it was my fault for resetting the laptop back to a restore point back in ocotber when it wasnt working. For those who dont know , I told it to a repair center, they wiped it and installed a trialversion of windows 7 I managed to get my product key now, so Im really not sure why I have all these viruses pop up msgs, Ive been using all the reccomended security protections.
I would like to ask if anyone can help me ?
Problem 1- I cant open any web browsers at all, Im typing this msg from realplayer. But even when I type in an address bar I cant access the internet through there either, for some reason only through real player.
Mozilla wont open at all, opera tries to open a msg manges to pop saying 'opera in not default browser' etc, but goes after litrelly 2 seconds. I just tried openening IE it opnened, then froze , than crashed now it wont open at all.
Opera wont let me delete it, my broiwesers were working fine since I dl opera its been maybe 1-2 weeks since than so how can it be that.
Problem 2-Right now its very difficult to type this messege, no matter where I type on my laptop, internet, wordpad, MS Word etc the lines get all mixed up. Say I typed 3 sentences, the last sentence Im writing will go to the top or a few words will for some reason go in the middle of the paragraah or the beggining without me doing anything!
Ive been having problems with my laptop for a while now. Usually the errors not being able to open anything on my desktop, so what I do is I take out the battery leave it for a while and it usually works. Ive ussed CCleanup, Malwarebytes, and avast. ive attached a jpeg of just 1 of the errors I get. I done all the comman propmts, wiped the winsock and the netsh one as well.
For a while I was getting weird pop ups from the internet explorer , an ad would just pop up, no screen just audio .. So not sure what wrong with my laptop.
If anyone knows whats wrong and if theres any solution please let me know. it would really b apprecfiated, thank you.

Hello Ayesha, perhaps I might be of some assistance.

First question, do you have a complete windows installation CD that you could use to reinstall, if you were interested?

Next, do you own or know someone who would lend you their computer for downloads, in the event that you could save files to a USB stick to install on the computer that is acting up?

Now, if you are using CCleaner and do not understand it completely, please refrain from using it. It is a registry cleaner, and frankly not needed if you are looking to "increase speed" on windows 7. It has a potential (lower than some) to royally mess things up for you. It cleans out registry entries, and that can be very dangerous as it can in no way completely understand your computer and all its software. It lowers stability and barely, if at all, increases speed. Without knowledge of the registry, it can be used to delete something you may actually need, wherein lies the danger.

Can you do a full scan with Malwarebytes to attempt to find anything? It is preferable that it be updated first, but if it cannot be, then make do with what you have.

Avast! is a poor quality antivirus, I would recommend another when possible. But don't uninstall it! You will need a tool to remove it from your computer as it could potentially leave behind traces of its program.

Would it be possible to download "revo uninstaller" free? If not, we can use Windows, but this program can remove some things a lot better than windows, and we will get into which programs you may want to remove, including Avast!

You are never required to remove anything unless you consent. I am just offering suggestions based on my experience.

Use this tutorial to fix system files: SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker

I have more for you after this as well...

Here is an internet troubleshooting guide: Internet Troubleshooting Guide
and an internet explorer troubleshooting guide: Troubleshooting Internet Explorer Issues

Type "Disk cleanup" into your start menu search, and click the program that appears. Uncheck everything - Check only the things that deal with the internet, such as "temporary internet files" and "Offline Files", and click okay.

I'll wait for your response to my questions after you've followed all of these steps.

Thank you dustsailor, the qoute I have above , I thought was the only reply I had becuase Im using real player as web broweser, its really difficult to navigiate. So I tried the suggestions in the above quote, and it didnt work. thanks for replying and I will now try your first post suggestions.
    - A clean install is what was suggested to me when I 1st signed up , Unfortunetly I still havent been able to. if none of these suggestions work than I wll most probably have to....I hope not though, because if thats the case might as well buy a new laptop lol!

I know its a suggestion but why do i need to remove avast, is this whats causing the problem by any chance?

    Ayesha,

Is Avast causing you problems? Maybe not, but you mentioned you had trouble with viruses, so you might remove Avast! as it isn't very good. Consider using Microsoft's Security Essentials (Anti-Malware, Virus, Spyware Protection | Microsoft Security Essentials), or read what others say about their favorite Antivirus: What's the Best Anti-virus?. I really don't recommend Avast!, it just simply isn't as good as Microsoft's product and most others, but it is completely up to you to keep or not.

Make sure you only use (besides Malwarebytes) a single antivirus at a time. Otherwise they will run over each other.

Sometimes, some antivirus programs can keep people from using the internet. It is rare but it does happen.

I can send you a step by step easy method for reinstalling Windows, but we can try to solve it another way if you prefer.

Thanks for replying, Im exhausted Ive tried nearly everything. removed most of my programs with the Revo tool suggested. Can you please point me to where I can remove I8?
Ill try Avira hopefully thats good! I already have Microsoft security essentials. I even restored my Lp to yesterday which is when the update happened so it should of fixed me not being able to open mozilla, safari ( i just downloaded it today so that definetly should of worked) and opera. i deleted opera, so whatelse is there left to do besides a complete clean?

    Hey Ayesha,

Remember when I said having more than 1 antivirus is not good for your computer? Please reconsider having Avira and Microsoft Security Essentials, and choose only 1 of them. That link I posted where they discuss antiviruses, they also discuss other security measures you might take, if interested.

You can remove IE8 if you don't want to use it. You would go to uninstall programs, and on the left in that menu block, click uninstall features (Or whatever it says). Uncheck IE8 and click ok.

I recommend having no more than 2 Web browsers at a time, but that is not as big a deal as having 2 Antiviruses at a time. Opera and Safari are the least secure major web browsers on the market at this time, so be careful with them.

As soon as possible, update and scan with an antivirus. You still are not able to use the internet?

What update are you talking about that wrecked your computer?

Thanks for warning me, when I downloaded Avira and tried installing it said i had to uninstall MSE. I donloaded it becuase I didnt think MSE was an anti-virus , Ihave had avast and MSE running togethere for a while now. Maybe this is the reason my laptop is doing all these weird things.
Regarding I8, I can not delete this program at all! it is not detected by anything, not the control panel-add/remove-nor Revo!! So Iknow I keep asking, but is there anythingelse I can do, lol its really annoying me it seems so simple but its quite strange- why is my browser not opeining yet realplayer is allowing me to browse the internet?
Ive removed pratically everything, Im now will have to delete firfox even though I really dont want to I have alot of bookmarks but Ill do it, but before this is there nothingelse I can try to open it? It doesnt even recognise a click now, I tried running as admin, safemode. I even tried browsing in safemode with network, still nothing.
-I dont think it was an update that wrecked it because it was at 8:00 pm on the 19th december. i was browsing fine. It when I switched on my laptop the next day -the 20th thats when I couldnt browse the internet through mozilla or anythingelse besides realplayer.
MSE is a anti-virus right? If so Ive scanned & removed the error.

    Ayesha,

Slow down a moment. If you cannot find IE8 through the method I told you, then Microsoft has prevented it from being removed, as it comes packaged with the operating system. It is part of Windows 7. I know that you can remove IE9, but you don't have it installed. If you have not used IE9 before, you might try it out if you can download it, it is a lot better than IE8.

Now, just to make sure: you aren't going through and just deleting random things are you? Don't delete something if you don't know exactly what it does. Also, don't try to delete anything unless it is through windows uninstaller or revo uninstaller. Even in there, there are strange named programs that can be anything from important drivers to updates for your computer. Only delete something if you know what it is (You can research what different programs are online).

Your browser isn't opening at all? You cannot double-click your browser (IE8 or firefox) to open it? Are there other programs you cannot open? Do you get any messages when you open your browser?

To give you peace of mind, there is a way to back up your firefox bookmarks. I thought all browsers weren't working, is this correct?

If you are able, install all important windows updates. If not, you may need to get to that later.

I can have you reinstall your network adapter to see if there is something wrong with it, but I need to know if you get any connection errors or words like that. Strange that Real player works but nothing else.

Are you positive you followed Everything I sent you?

Ive been repeating myself over and over, its a wierd problem I know which is why its annoying I cant figure it out. MOZILLA FIRFOX & IE8 are not opening at all-IE8 openes for half a second than freezes and error- 'internet explorer has stopped working'. Thank God, everythingelse opens only can browse through real player and i mentioned before ----no matter where I type on my laptop, internet, wordpad, MS Word etc the lines get all mixed up. Say I typed 3 sentences, the last sentence Im writing will go to the top or a few words will for some reason go in the middle of the paragraah or the beggining without me doing anything!
Ive scanned over and over since I got my LP back from the repair center where I took it originally. There has to be something other than a complete clean becuase im using all other programs just fine.
----I installed a new version of firefox that didnt work either.
safemode, privatebrowsing, admin mode nothing works.
