Search Engine "Filter Bubbling"?????

Has anybody heard of Search Engines using "Filter Bubbling"? Apparently it has something to do with "filtering" search results to prevent people from getting all the relevent information that they searched for.

I normally use Scroogle.org (NOTE: NOT Scroogle.COM, which is a porn site) as my search engine, because they destroy search requests every 24 hrs (UNlike Google which stores search requests for Years & freely supplys them to the FBI!!!).

I read that GoDuckGo.com search engine does not use Filter Bubbling OR store search requests. But before I switch search engines, I need to learn more about this "Filter Bubbling".

I was out for a week and some people downloaded files on my computer. I ran a scan with Malwarebytes (Full) and a scan with SUPERAntiSpyware (Quick). Both of these are full versions (just in case it matters). Also, it looks like my computer is slowing down and now there is a WS toolbar that stands...

"Add a search filter" greyed out
I haven't been able to find a solution for this: I have an explorer window open, either pointed to the root of my C: drive, or to some folder (say C:\data). When I click the Search window, the drop-down appears showing previous searches, but the "Add a search filter" is greyed out. What's...

Q: "Date created" Search filter?
In Explorer, is there any way to do a search for files CREATED on a specific date or within a range of dates? I've found the search filter using "Date modified" but not "Data created". The old XP "Search companion" did it, but that's no longer available in Windows 7, as far as I know.
