Cannot Enable Hardware Acceleration On IE9

    Hello again!
I am having trouble enabling GPU hardware acceleration features on IE9.
    System is as follows:
Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit with all updates (including SP1)
    Intel Core 2 Duo Processor
Intel GMA 4500MHD with latest drivers available from Windows Update
    Internet Explorer 9 Official Release

IE9 works just fine, but under the 'advanced' tab of 'internet options' the option 'Use software rendering instead of GPU rendering*' is permanently checked and cannot be unchecked.

I know that this problem often occurs because of out of date drivers. I *think* mine are the latest.
Apparently graphics cards need to support DirectX 10 for this feature. I *think* mine does.
I have read that WDDM 1.1 is required. I *think* my configuration supports this.

Any kind of help or explanation why this is happening would be useful.
    Thanks in advance,
    Sevener111

I had to get new driver from Intel driver download and the option is available now.

    Thank you for that.
After updating the drivers the option was not only avalible, but already enabled. :)
For anyone else with this problem:
    1. Go to the Intel, ATI, or NVIDEA site depending on your manufacturer.
    2. Find the 'auto driver analysis' or other similar offerings usually under 'support' or 'drivers' sections on the website (Intel has one provided by System Requirements Lab). If this is not available and you know your graphics card's model number, update manually.
    3. Reboot your computer.
    4. Check if the option is available in IE 9 now.

    Hope this helps.

I want to turn mine OFF! How to do it? I run folding @ home and all browsers are laggy with it on. Firefox was easy, but I can't find it in IE9!
