    Google not remembering SafeSearch filters

Search Settings > SafeSearch filters > slider to no filtering

Save, get message saying "prefs are saved"; return to google

Return to Search Settings, and the slider is set to moderate

    Change slider to no filtering

Save, get message saying "prefs are saved"; return to google

Return to Search Settings, and the slider is set to moderate

Anyone else seeing this, and how to fix this?

    Thanks!

Enable cookies, and perhaps enable persistent storage, in your browser... cookies are how Google 'remembers' your preferences... :)

Cookies ARE enabled. Why would you think they arent?

What is persistent storage? Never heard of it...this was working up until a few days ago - never dealt with persistent storage before.

Because they obviously AREN'T working given the behaviour you describe...

Something sounds like it's gone AWOL inside your browser...

Cookies ARE enabled. If I have not turned them off, they have to still be on right? Here is s shot of my options:

It might be worthwhile to test it in another browser, since that would narrow the problem down.

What about any security software or cleanup utilities you might be running? Lot's of them like to clean out your cookies stash as a matter of course.

As of yesterday, this is now working.

Google must have done something to fix this.
