Multiple mail clients creating different IMAP folders

    Hi,

I use IMAP for my mail accounts to have on all my machines the same mails.
But the disturbing problem with this is that it seems that each mail client uses different folder names fo the same function ...

So I use the webmailer (to see all),
    MS Outlook (German),
    Thunderbird (English)
    Sent mails: sent, Gesendete Nachrichten
    Junk mails: Junk, Junk-E-Mails
    Deleted mails trash, Gelöschte Nachrichten

Is there a way to tell them to use the same folders?

Also I’m wondering is it not possible in IMAP to have a folder hold mails and subfolders?

Hi guys I found a way to sign:
    1) the "Outlook 'Sent Mails'" folder --to--> the 'Sent' folder of the Server
    2) the "Outlook 'Deleted Mails'" folder --to--> the 'Trash' folder of the Server

But still missing this feature for:
Junk Mail and the Draft/Templates folder, is there a Way?

Another problem is that I connect TLS to my mail servers.
Outlook is always (at start up and when I try to send a mail at first time in a session) asking if I trust the Certificate. I do so, and tried to install the certificate but it seems not working …
Is there a trick or a special folder I have to install the cert to?
