IE 8 , optomized for Bing & MSN

I need help.. with my QVC acct.. I've recently downloaded IE 8 .. not sure if this has caused this problem or not...that's why I'm here.
    Screen shot
    Attachment 206689

Also wondering if there's a setting in my AVAST anti-virus program that may be causing this .

Thanks to anyone who can help with this matter.
    :)

I'm running XP Pro SP3 with IE8. QVC site loads without issue.

    Thank you for your reply..
I should have mentioned I cannot sign in to my account due to that red line ..
I get to my sign in screen, add my e-mail ..then password.. hit enter..
then I see it trying to load.. but never does.
    That's the problem,
I've tried applying their suggestions on the red line area.. this didn't help any.It mentioned my settings.. this is the only web page I've had this issue with.
    Thanks again.
    Any suggestions ?

It looks like QVC is displaying that error message, and if so probably because IE is by default blocking scripting or something for all pages.

You can add QVC.com to your trusted sites list and that may fix it.
Internet Explorer Security Zones - Add or Remove Sites

Or, if you see a little blue circle with a slash through it next to your IE address bar, click on that to turn off filtering and see if that fixes it.

I've folowed your suggestions above.. Nothing has changed on my account page.
Can't log in.. as long as that redline is there. I might also add I see the LOCK on QVC. in my browser when trying to log in.
    Thanks so much :)

ps.. I did download Chrome browser.. I can get in just fine with it.

Try resetting Internet Explorer to defaults in the advanced teb. Here is a screenshot of what you should do:

    Good suggestion Windude!

Downloading Google Chrome may of caused the issue.

    Try uninstalling all other browsers.

    Try system restore.

    Run sfc /scannow

Let us know if the problem is solved.
