IE9: no internet history

I've noticed my IE9 is not recording the history of the internet like it used to..
It does record local visits of my computer (pictures, etc).. It stopped about three weeks ago..

Why did it stop, and how can I get it working again?

First try System Restore. Go back before the issue started.

Find a restore point over 3 weeks, ago.

System Restore

Keep me posted on your progress.
