    Change Icon Of Internet Shortcut

Hello. I created an internet shortcut to Facebook on the desktop, and made an ICO file for the logo. However, when I open up Properties, there is no option to Change Icon. Why is that, and how can I fix this?

P.S. My default browser is RockMelt.

Hello Averatis, and welcome to Seven Forums.

You could use OPTION TWO or OPTION THREE in the tutorial below to create your internet shortcut with instead to be able to change it's icon.

    Hope this helps,

I use a different browser Firefox and I just dragged a shortcut to my desktop right-click on it and got this under the Web Document tab there was a change icon button and I was able to change it.

you can create another shortcut of your internet launcher icon (firefox/ IE / Whatever you use). Open the properties of the shortcut and add the website in quotations to the end of the target box, after your browser exe.

    (example: Target "C:\Program Files\Waterfox\waterfox.exe" "http://www.primewire.ag")

    Then just change the icon.
