NO URL address bar and some crappy funmoods icon

Not sure what has happened but if I open firefox I no longer get my URL address box and it goes to something being determined by funmoods! Cannot delete it as windows says nothing to find re funmoods, its damned annoying how do I get rid of it?
    Thanks

Open Firefox> Tools> Add-ons> Extensions> There will be a Funmoods extension> Click on Remove> Click on Restart now if prompted

    Check your search provider

Click on the arrow next to the search provider> A dropdown list of all search providers will appear> Scroll down to Manage search engines> Click on Funmoods search> Click Remove

Check your home page as well

Open Firefox> Tools> Options> In home page field, if it is a funmoods address, either change it to your correct home page, or click on the Restore to default button> Click on OK

See if that fixes it. A Guy

    Hi

Problem now sorted many thanks. I never found out how to get a list of search providers but the funmmods was hiding under the extensions and home page details, now deleted it and all back to normal. Once again many thanks.

Glad to hear it. If your searches from FF go to the correct search engine, then it isn't a worry. If not, let us know and we'll get into changing the search provider. A Guy
