    Sending EXE.Files via Hotmail

Does anyone know if it's possible to send Exe. files via MSN Hotmail?

    Thanks,

    Hello Harry,

Normally you would just have the .exe in a ZIP file, and send the ZIP file instead. This avoids the .exe from possibly getting blocked.

    Hope this helps,

I just tried with and without zipping it up, and only the zipped one went through. :)

another way is to use dropbox and paste the public link to the exe in your message

I just did a test. Hotmail won't let you attach a file with an "exe" extension but it will accept and send the same file if you change the extension to something else like "exee".
