Thanks, was hoping for a different default skin but okay. Its laggy as hell for me though.

Well, using the Nightly Tester Tools add-on, you can pretty much force install most themes...it's weird that it's laggy for you...actually seems to have improved performance over 3.5.2 and 3.6a1, for me anyway.
I'm familiar with using the Nightly Tester Tools add-on. I was a Firefox user prior to switching to the Chrome Dev Builds.

As to the performance issue. Different hardware, software, setup, etc. Anything could be causing the issue.

Have you been tweaking in the about:config section DNG?

I know I went on a tweak rampage and FF is definitely faster now. The only problem is that 50% of the time, pages automatically time out now. And do you think I can remember what I changed to cause that?

I tend to leave configurations such as that alone. Unless I truly need to, I was only using 3.7 out of curiosity.

I am going back to my Developers Build of Chrome which is far superior in speed for me, then FF ever was.

you could start a new profile then copy the about:config default back in to overwrite the changes you made. Also there is a profile addon called FEBE that backs up your profile for you from within firefox.

    Thanks Aaron,

Initial impressions look to me like they may have sorted out the 3.52 issues - for me anyway

    Fair enough.

That's a good idea. Thanks mate.

On the plus side of FF acting up, I've been using Opera 10 as my main browser for over a week and I like it - feels somewhat liberating getting away from FF in a way :)

Yeah, Nigel, it seems to be responding a lot better for me so far, time will tell I guess though.

    You're welcome guys.

you know, just a little while ago, I booted up my laptop, let the desktop load, and then clicked on Firefox. and guess what? it started in about 3-4 seconds! I don't know if this is coincidence or what, but I'm gonna try to be more observant of this kind-of thing.
