The pane is already off and it's working right now, but that doesn't mean it will be working in 10 minutes

Have no idea what I did!

    I am using Chrome 8.

I had the same screen as RichO. Gear icon was not showing.

I scrolled down to and clicked the first of the two options (the one with the little down arrow). Reading pane settings was set to off. Right clicked on 'Off', 'open link in new tab'.
The old display was there in the new tab. Also worked with the second options.

Holy crap...now outlook.com is doing the same crap and the page never finishes loading...I get the spinning circle next to cursor.

This is just on IE 9...chrome and FF, it works fine.

Yesterday Outlook was bad, went back to Hotmail.
Today. Hotmail sucks again, off and on in FF.

When I try to reload the page it gets whacked out. If I press the back button, it sometimes clears it up.

Is M$ going to fix this ?

95 percent of the time it's a no go on ie9. Still loading ok on chrome, but doesn't seem to be working 100 percent correct. I dug my old Compact evo out and tried it on xp, no good, put my Vista hard drive back in- no good. I think they must be getting ready to force us to Outlook, and doing something to it for Windows 8, i'm not going to jump through a bunch of hoops to get this to work like i tried with windows 8. I just created a new gmail account, hopefully i can keep the spammers out this time.
