Small photo in left bottom email

Sometimes I see a small photo in the lower left side of an email (not an attachment) and would like to show one in my outgoing emails. The only way I know to show a photo in the actual message being sent is to drag and drop one from my Irfan pics, but it can't be made smaller and fills up the entire screen. I'd appreciate any ideas you all may have. Thanks. ec

EllenC. One thought is that your email program is looking at your contact list and retrieving the photo that you have for that email address in your contact list.

You can bring the photo into an editing program and reduce it's size and then save it as a different name, then bring that photo into your email.
