Windows 7 Home Premium x64 SP1

Just did it at your request. It didn't work. I really really think that it's a big bug in Flash's code...

Posted a thread for help on Adobe's forums... link on request.

I would love to know the current progress of your situation. Because its not only you but me as well. I dont believe its related directly to firefox as ive tried IE aswell. WHat happens to me is basically the same. Now on XP it works fine. But on my Windows 7 installation i have the same symptoms as you. I discovered the problem while trying to upload on youtube and vimeo. It works correctly on the classic uploader, but on the flash based uploader it gets all funky. Like you it says youre uploading the file at an incredible speed. Which is wrong. Either that or the uploader would just error out half way.

Now the reason the file still ends up getting uploader as you noticed isn't because your connection is magically running at 100mbit. But because the file is still uploading in the background even after it says its done. Ive noticed this by running a bandwidth monitor after it jumped right to 100%. Another thing ive noticed is this happens with AIM as well on windows 7. The file transfer just jumps to 100% right away but still continues to upload to finish off the rest of the file.

Firefox and Flash player crash problem
Firefox started to give me some trouble a couple of days and it seems I can't view pages who have Flash content installed. It seems to crash for no apparent reason, or if I let it play, after 2 seconds or so the browser also stops responding. I updated both, Flash player and Firefox to their latest...
