How's it been so far? I'm running FF 14.0 as secondary browser(my primary is chromium.) It seems to work pretty well. I'm reluctant to install over it unless the new one is solid.

So far it appears to be fine.

    Haven't noticed anything different either.

Hmm, sometimes I wonder if they detect a new install and run smoother the first day.

You know like a new Fast Food Joint(tm) opens in the neighborhood and they serve the good stuff for the first 3 months to get everyone in the habit of going there. After 90 days they go back to the frozen meat. :)

Seems like every time I update a browser, even chromium snapshots... it seems snappier... until the next day. :)

FF 16 doing fine here on xp & w7 laptops. Fine on w8 as well, where it seems to have cured flash crashes experienced with 15. A couple of (unimportant) add-ons where incompatible. Very stable so far.

Speaking of AddOns I see where the author of SyncPlaces and CheclPlaces, 2 that I use, threw in the towel. Supposedly they are no longer compatible. Apparently the licensing allows distribution by 3rd parties. I was lucky enough to find SyncPlaces 5.x. All I had to do to undo the disabling of FF update was to install 5. Works fine(this is FF 14.01 I'm talking about.) The thing I like about SyncPlaces compared to other bookmark syncs is it lets you use your own ftp site. No need to upload to some google account. Wish they had it for chromium.

The other nice thing about it. You download to a browser on another machine your bookmarks toolbar and all that stuff comes up the way it's supposed to. You don't have to unscramble anything. No dupes. No missing favicons etc..
