    IE8 Password Typing Issue

    Hi,

As usual i don't like Firefox etc. I want to stick to IE but now there's a new annoying new thing which is bothering me and I need help with it.

Earlier When a dialog box opens to ask username and password in IE usually i paste in the password and it worked fine. Now after upgrading to Windows 7 and on IE 8, it FORCES me to type in the password.

Now my some passwords are so rigid that it will take me ages to type them all in. I want to know how to disable thing forcing of the type thing in IE 8 ?

    Thanks.

I also have this issue especially with NOD and their website to download. They ask for user and password and I can't get it to work even if I type.

I don't know if someone has had that cleared up but it would nice to know.

Adjust the combination of these two settings. Lower security, save form data.

    Antman,

I have security at medium and all autocomplete checked. I still get a refusal for passwords with Eset even when typed manual. If I use IE7, then no sweat.

OK, I was actually at medium high. I lowered to medium, now that worked.

I would have never thought that a password issue was a security setting. Go figure.

    Thanks Antman.
