Can't send email to one person's email address

I am helping a friend with their computer mess. The husband uses Windows Live as his email client and the wife uses direct Road Runner.

They both use the same computer. When the husband tries to send email to his wife's email acct, she never receives it. Yet he can send emails to me and I am a Road Runner email address. So I know that his Windows Live is set up correctly.

His wife's email is working fine directly through Road Runner as she can send and receive emails.

SO... Seems to me the issue has something to do with using the same computer and he never signs out of Windows Live. (I personally use Outlook as I am a business and am not familiar with Windows Live)

He never gets any kind of Undeliverable mail message or anything.

Can anyone help me here. I'm am do back over to continue cleaning up some other issues with his system. And I'm not sure where to go from here.

    Thank you in advance.

From my experience with WLMail, sometimes the accounts that are created get corrupted from time to time for no apparent reason. Which still baffles me to this day. The quick fix I found to work is to uninstall the problematic account and then re-install.

Thank you both Irene and Bassfisher6522! I'm guessing it's an issue as this gentleman just moved into a new house and basically never updates anything. I'm going back today to 'fix' and endless loop of files that he copied over from other computers on this new computer. Problem is they are the XP doc and settings files from his XP machine onto the new Win7 machine. Makes it very difficult for the system to know and the app software to know where to look for files. Nice machine, but app software is all old, from the 1990's. Need to have him understand that he needs to update his software!!!

As far as the WL, I've never used it as I am a fan of Outlook and have been using that since it first came out. But it would make sense that is got corrupt, and also the identities issue is what I'm thinking the issue is. He never closes it out, ever! And as I said he never updates his software!!

Thank you both. I'm scheduled to be over there today and this info couldn't have been better timing wise!! Will let you both know the outcome!

    Irene and Bassfisher6522

Tried both suggestions and nothing works. I should explain these folks said that it use to work. The issue is the husband is using WI and the wife just logs directly into Road Runner. The Time Warner acct is in the husband's name and his email is the master or controlling email in Time Warners Road Runner system. The wife's email is a secondary email acct. This shouldn't make a difference as I can send emails to any of my road runner accts and I use Outlook.

The husband cannot thru WI send his wife an email message or forward any message. He gets no errors, no messages that it cannot be delievered, nothing. And it never comes into the wife's email. Cannot figure this out. It's like it goes into a black hole never to be seen!!!

Any other suggestions? Calling TW is useless as it's involving a WI and they will not support problems that could be from a third party email software.

I should mention that there are no problems with either acct sending or receiving other emails, only between husband and wife's email accts.

    Any suggestions??
