    Chrome freezing up

Google Chrome is really making me angry it freezes up when visiting some websites and takes around 1-2 minutes to load back up. When it freezes the whole PC freezes! I can't CTRL+ALT+DEL or get task manger up (even with CTRL+SHIFT+TAB) . It freezes the whole PC making it completely unusable for 2 minutes.

This only happens when visiting some websites it happened to me when I clicked a link to read this article > Seven brilliant things about Hitman: Absolution - Hitman

    Many more as well...

oh it's up to date btw

I'd think is likely either an extension, or the flash plugin. Usually the complaint is only Chrome freezing, but since your PC is actually freezing, it's more unusual.

Temporarily disable extensions to see if the behavior stops. If so, you can enable extensions until you find the culprit. Scroll down to Temporarily disable extensions

Manage your extensions - Google Chrome Help

You might also try this flash fix that has been an issue with Chrome itself freezing on certain sites.

How To: Solve your Google Chrome Freezing and Hanging Problems

If no help, I would open task manager Ctrl+ Shift+Esc> Click on Options> And click Always on top

Surf to an offending page and see if you can identify a suspect.

I had the same problem. Last night, I decided to Remove NVIDIA driver and reinstall it with a newer version. After that, all the problem have been solved. Go to Drivers - Download NVIDIA Drivers or your computer manufacture site, download a new version NVIDIA driver, then go to Control Panel/Uninstall a program, look for NVIDIA driver, remove it and restart your computer. Then, reinstall the new version.
