    Flash Player?

Up until yesterday I was able to play YouTube videos on Internet Explorer quite nicely. After being hounded on YouTube to update Flash Player I found that few of the videos play right anymore. They play the audio but with a blank screen. At first I thought it was due to a virus, but then I tried Firefox (which hasn't been updated) and it played okay. If this is indeed due to Flash Player how do I correct it? Also, could this be the reason why MediaCoder keeps giving me an error message when I press start on the program which says, "NO_READY_ITEM" & "NO_ITEM"?

Make sure your computer is up to date through windows update, after that update your video drivers, and reinstall flash.

Your flash player is outdated, download the newest one. Here is a link. Adobe - Install Adobe Flash Player

If I am not mistaken flash for IE is currently at version 11.4.402.287

The current version is 11.4.402.287. You can try updating to the current version and see if that helps.

I haven't heard of realplayer conflicting with Flash, I have both on my system, been that way for almost 8+ years with no conflicts.

Just got Flash Player up to date but still no picture on YouTube. And tried MediaCoder and still the same error message.

Windows is up to date. It checked automatically yesterday. Have you got a link to the drivers for my graphics card?

    NVIDIA DRIVERS 306.97WHQL

Also boohbah is correct that there is a well known issue with Flash and Real Player
